with us

Are you looking for an opportunity to apply academic research skills to help industry shift towards clean growth, low carbon technologies and efficient use of resources?

Find out how to join us and how you will be supported.

Our Commitment
to you

In addition to joining outstanding research groups, you will have excellent support and opportunities for your professional development. We offer annual CPD allowance and all the individual institutions offer development academies at the research associate and doctoral level- you’ll be encouraged and supported to take part. Tailored activities building on the unique position of the SynHiSel programme will give you access to professional development workshops, research exchanges and industrial secondments. Joining a large multi-partner research project offers an exceptional research environment as well as opportunities to experience interdisciplinary research collaboration and partnerships beyond academia.

We strive to be an inclusive programme, where difference is celebrated, respected and encouraged. We truly believe that diversity of experience, perspectives, and backgrounds leads to a better environment for employees and students, building a research environment and organisational culture that enhances what we can achieve across our community.

We will make all offers based on your competencies and experience relative to the role. We are happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments you may require. We positively encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.
