One of the highlights of SustainMemPro2026 was the breadth of research presented by Early Career Researchers. Thank you to everyone who contributed talks and posters – the scientific novelty, impact potential and overall quality of research presented gave our judges a difficult job.
Congratulations to Pierre Dieudonné, University of Edinburgh, who received the Best ECR Oral Presentation Prize for “Process Optimisation of Polymeric Membranes at Sub-Ambient Temperature for Performant and Energy-Efficient CO₂ Capture”.
The Best ECR Poster Presentation Prize was awarded to Jing Lin Lin, University of Manchester, for “Improving Supported Liquid Membranes Feasibility for Carbon Capture by Tailoring Solvent-Support Affinities”.
We are also grateful to the European Membrane Society EMS for supporting the prizes, and to our keynote speaker Gyorgy Szekely for presenting the awards.
